ATEEZ have added another trophy to their latest comeback era. The group won their seventh music-show award for “BAD” on the September 20 episode of SBS’s Inkigayo, defeating &TEAM’s “Mark on Me” and RESCENE’s “LOVE ATTACK.” ATEEZ finished with 4,657 points.
The victory extends what has already been a strong promotional run for “BAD.”
Music-show wins remain an important part of the K-pop comeback cycle. Although domestic charts, streaming figures and album sales provide broader measures of a song’s performance, weekly programs such as Inkigayo, Music Bank and M Countdown give artists a direct opportunity to compete during their promotional period.
Seven wins therefore represent repeated success rather than a single strong week.
ATEEZ have developed a reputation for powerful performance stages and elaborate concepts since debuting under KQ Entertainment in 2018. Their music frequently incorporates cinematic storytelling, intense choreography and themes of rebellion, identity and freedom.
That identity has helped them develop an especially strong international fandom, ATINY.
The “BAD” era continues that trajectory.
The group have also become one of the more prominent examples of a K-pop act whose overseas popularity has translated into major touring opportunities. Their international concerts have increasingly moved into larger venues, reflecting the growth of their global audience.
The Inkigayo win came during a busy broadcast that included performances from LE SSERAFIM, &TEAM, EVAN, i-dle’s Soyeon, Minho, Kwon Eun Bi, 82MAJOR, VERIVERY and several other artists.
For ATEEZ, however, the spotlight remained on “BAD.”
Seven trophies give the song a substantial place in the group’s music-show history and provide another measurable achievement for a comeback that has clearly resonated with their fandom.
It also shows how competitive the current K-pop landscape has become. ATEEZ were up against an &TEAM release and RESCENE’s viral resurgence, yet still secured the top position.
As promotions continue, the group will have more opportunities to add to their trophy count.
ATEEZ’s “BAD” promotional cycle continues, with fans watching for additional music-show appearances and potential wins before the era concludes.
