B1A4’s Jinyoung And Cho Yi Hyun Find A Life-Changing Summer In “Summer Vacation”

B1A4’s Jinyoung and actress Cho Yi Hyun are stepping into a youthful romance with a mysterious twist in the upcoming drama “Summer Vacation.” New main posters released September 28 introduce the two leads and their unforgettable summer in Upo Village.

The series follows 18-year-old Kim Ha Yeon, played by Cho Yi Hyun, an ordinary high school student who dreams of something more dramatic from life. She imagines the possibility that her biological mother could come from a wealthy family or that a storybook-style fate could suddenly appear in her life.

Her world changes when she travels with her father to Upo Village during summer vacation.

There she meets Jo Yu Gyeom, played by Jinyoung. Yu Gyeom is the son of the village landowner and the eldest grandson of its head family. He is handsome, an excellent swimmer and accustomed to living according to traditional rules.

Despite appearing to have an ordinary routine, Yu Gyeom’s life begins to change when Ha Yeon enters it. The posters show the two spending time together against a lush summer landscape, hinting at a romance built around youthful curiosity and unfamiliar emotions.

The production team described the drama as a story about the miraculous moments two young people experience during the summer when they are 18, emphasizing that this particular period of their lives can never be repeated.

Cho Yi Hyun has previously appeared in projects including All of Us Are Dead, Hospital Playlist and The Matchmakers, while Jinyoung has balanced music and acting throughout his career.

The drama therefore brings together two performers with different backgrounds but similar experience in youth-oriented stories.

Rather than relying solely on conventional romance, the mysterious element surrounding Ha Yeon’s vacation appears to be central to the plot.

“Summer Vacation” premieres October 26. The newly released posters suggest viewers can expect a nostalgic coming-of-age atmosphere, youthful romance and a mystery surrounding the summer that changes both characters.
