Kim Si Ah And Park Ji Hoon In Talks For New Romance Drama “Holding Onto The End Of This Night”

A new romance drama is taking shape with Kim Si Ah and Park Ji Hoon potentially heading into very different roles from their previous projects.

Kim Si Ah has received an offer to star in the upcoming drama “Holding Onto the End of This Night”, with her agency confirming on September 14 that she is reviewing the proposal. Park Ji Hoon had previously been reported to be in talks for the male lead.

The drama centres on two people whose lives could hardly be more different.

Park Ji Hoon has been offered the role of Choi Woo Sung, a sanitation worker who once dreamed of becoming a pianist. He attended specialized arts schools during his youth but ultimately ended up living a very different life.

Kim Si Ah has reportedly been offered the role of Yoo Mi Ji, a low-level drug dealer.

The story brings these two characters together beneath the night sky, with the production describing them as people living opposite lives who eventually become sources of salvation for one another.

That setup immediately suggests a romance with considerably darker foundations than the typical workplace or campus love story.

For Kim Si Ah, the project would add another interesting title to an already impressive filmography. She made her acting debut in the 2018 film Miss Baek and subsequently appeared in projects including Ashfall, The Closet and Kill Boksoon. International drama viewers may also recognize her from Seasons 2 and 3 of Netflix’s Sweet Home.

Park Ji Hoon has also been steadily expanding his acting career. His recent work includes the drama “The Legend of Kitchen Soldier,” adding another project to a career that began with his time as a member of Wanna One before developing into solo music and acting.

The potential pairing is therefore interesting because both actors have experience moving between different genres and character types.

However, it is important to stress that neither lead has officially confirmed participation yet.

Kim Si Ah is still reviewing the offer, while Park Ji Hoon is also reportedly in talks.
