NCT WISH, TXT, ENHYPEN And More Score Major RIAJ Certifications In Japan

Several major K-pop acts have received new official certifications from Japan’s Recording Industry Association of Japan, with NCT WISH earning a double-platinum certification and TXT, ENHYPEN, RIIZE, TWS and NiziU among the artists receiving platinum recognition.

NCT WISH’s Japanese single album “YO-I-DON! / BOY MEETS GIRL” achieved double platinum status after exceeding 500,000 units shipped in Japan. Under RIAJ’s certification system, releases reach gold status at 100,000 units, platinum at 250,000 and million certification at 1 million units.

The result is another important milestone for NCT WISH, particularly because the group has continued developing a strong presence in Japan alongside its Korean activities. The group’s Japanese releases have become an increasingly important part of its catalogue as NCT WISH expands its fanbase in the country.

TXT’s Japanese single album “Setsuna Hanabi” also earned platinum certification, crossing the 250,000-unit threshold. ENHYPEN’s Korean mini album “THE SIN : BLISS” received the same certification.

RIIZE’s Japanese single album “Sunburst”, TWS’ Japanese single album “SODA SODA”, and NiziU’s Japanese EP “GOOD GIRL BUT NOT FOR YOU” were also certified platinum.

The latest certification batch also includes several gold-certified releases. ZEROBASEONE’s Japanese EP “KAIKILOVE,” LE SSERAFIM’s Korean album “PUREFLOW” Pt.1, and ALPHA DRIVE ONE’s Korean mini album “UNBREAKABLE : 少年BEAST” each surpassed 100,000 units shipped in Japan.

RIAJ certifications are based on shipments rather than individual digital streams, making them a useful indicator of physical album demand in Japan. The latest results also highlight how important the Japanese market remains for K-pop, where Korean acts frequently release dedicated Japanese singles and albums alongside their Korean discographies.

What Fans Can Expect

With multiple groups continuing Japanese promotions and tours, these certifications are unlikely to be the last major milestones of the year. NCT WISH’s double-platinum result in particular gives the group’s growing Japanese activities another major achievement to celebrate.
